The I.R.I.S. IRIScan Express 4 is a compact, USB-powered sheet-fed scanner designed for portable use. It scans single sheets up to A4/letter size with optical resolution up to 1200 x 1200 dpi, supports color and black & white simplex scanning, and saves output in standard formats (TIFF, PDF, PNG, JPG). Weighing about 0.4 kg and able to scan up to 8 pages per minute, it is suitable for scanning receipts, business cards, photos and documents and can send files directly to PC, cloud services or email.

Advantages

The scanner combines lightweight, battery-free USB power with a fast single-sheet feed mechanism and high-precision scanning resolutions (300/600/1200 dpi). The Button Manager lets you configure up to nine functions for one-click workflows, including automatic document size detection and cropping. How to use

Connect the IRIScan Express 4 to a computer using the supplied USB cable; no external power supply is required. Install the included OCR and scanning software on Windows or Mac, then place a single sheet into the feeder and press the configured Button Manager function to start scanning. Configure preferred output format and destination (local folder, email, cloud service, or FTP) within the software. To create a multi-page PDF, scan individual sheets sequentially with the Button Manager set to append pages.
