The Shelly 1PM Mini Gen3 is a compact Wi‑Fi smart switch with power metering designed for wireless control of lights and small appliances. Measuring 34 × 16 × 29 mm, it fits behind wall switches or inside sockets and supports AC input 110–240 V with a maximum switching current of 8 A. The device includes Wi‑Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, dry contact support and built‑in power monitoring with free historical data storage for energy analysis.
The mini form factor allows installation in tight spaces without changing existing wiring. A powerful Shelly chip with 8 MB memory improves responsiveness and enables future updates, including planned Matter support. Built‑in power metering lets you track consumption of connected devices up to 8 A, while Wi‑Fi and optional Bluetooth inclusion remove the need for an external hub. The switch supports smart schedules, scenes and mjS scripting for custom automation and can act as a Bluetooth gateway.
Install the Shelly 1PM Mini Gen3 behind an existing wall switch or inside a socket box, ensuring the device is connected to the AC supply and the load does not exceed 8 A. Connect to your local Wi‑Fi network using the Shelly Smart Control app or include the device via Bluetooth for initial setup. Configure schedules, scenes or mjS scripts within the app and monitor power consumption through the device’s metering feature and stored historical data.
Use the Shelly 1PM Mini Gen3 for small to medium loads only (max 8 A). Place the device where there is sufficient ventilation and avoid exceeding the rated current. Regularly review the power consumption logs to identify inefficient devices and adjust schedules or automation rules to optimise energy use.
