Power adapter cable ShiverPeaks BS09-07035 — IEC C14 to CEE 7/3, 1 mm² conductor, for UPS, 2 m
ShiverPeaks BS09-07035 is a 2 m adapter power cable that connects devices with an IEC C14 inlet to a European CEE 7/3 (Schuko) mains socket. The cable features a 1 mm² conductor cross-section and is intended primarily for use with UPS units, rack equipment, servers and workstations where a secure mains feed is required. Its straight design and standard connector types make it suitable for replacing or extending power connections in IT and AV installations.
The cable combines a standard IEC C14 male connector with a CEE 7/3 (Schuko) plug and a 1 mm² conductor to provide a reliable, low-resistance connection for short-distance power distribution. With a 2 m length it balances reach and cable management in racks or under desks. Designed for use with uninterruptible power supplies and similar equipment, it supports stable mains delivery to sensitive electronics without adding unnecessary bulk.
This cable is not intended for long-distance mains distribution or for applications that require higher conductor cross-sections for increased current capacity. For heavy-duty equipment drawing high current or for permanent fixed wiring installations, a cable with a larger conductor cross-section and an appropriate connector type should be chosen. The 2 m length may be insufficient where greater separation between devices and sockets is required.
Insert the IEC C14 end into the corresponding inlet on the UPS, server or device, and plug the CEE 7/3 Schuko end into a properly rated European mains socket. Ensure the socket and circuit can supply the device's rated current and that any protective earth connection is intact. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends, pinching points and heat sources. Disconnect power before performing maintenance or changing connections.
Use this adapter cable for short runs between UPS units or equipment and nearby wall sockets, keep connections dry and secure, and replace the cable if insulation shows damage or if connectors become loose to maintain reliable power delivery.
