Power adapter cable ShiverPeaks IEC C14 to CEE 7/3, 1 mm² conductors, for UPS, 3 m
ShiverPeaks IEC C14 to CEE 7/3, 1 mm² conductors, for UPS, 3 m is a 3-metre mains adapter cable designed to connect equipment with an IEC C14 inlet to European CEE 7/3 mains sockets. The cable uses 1.0 mm² conductors and a molded IEC C14 connector to provide a steady mains connection for UPS units, servers, workstations and network devices that require a C14 inlet to be powered from standard European outlets.
This adapter cable offers a straightforward, low-profile solution for powering devices with IEC C14 inlets from CEE 7/3 sockets. The 1 mm² conductors balance flexibility and current-carrying capability for typical IT and UPS applications. At 3 metres long, the lead provides extra reach for rack and workstation setups while maintaining a compact, easy-to-route form factor. Molded terminations help ensure a consistent electrical contact and reduce strain at connector junctions.
This cable is intended for standard mains voltages and common IT power requirements; it is not rated for specialty high-current or industrial three-phase applications. It is also not designed for outdoor use or conditions where the cable would be exposed to chemicals, extreme heat, or mechanical abuse. For environments with demanding mechanical protection or higher current needs, consider a cable with larger conductor cross-section or industrial-grade insulation.
Before connecting, verify that the mains voltage and device ratings match and that the cable is undamaged. Insert the molded IEC C14 connector firmly into the device inlet until it seats. Plug the CEE 7/3 plug into a compatible mains socket. Ensure the connection is secure and that there is no strain or tight bending near the connectors. For UPS connections, attach the cable only when the UPS and load are configured according to the UPS manufacturer’s instructions.
Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and heat sources, secure it to prevent tugging on connectors, and inspect the cable periodically for wear. Use the adapter cable only within the rated electrical parameters of your UPS and connected devices.
