Handheld Wireless Microphone Shure SLXD24E/SM58 — Cardioid, UHF 470–514 MHz, 32 Channels, XLR Out
Shure SLXD24E/SM58 is a handheld dynamic wireless microphone system with a cardioid pickup pattern designed for live vocals, presentations and speech. The system operates in the UHF band (470–514 MHz) and provides up to 32 selectable channels. The kit includes one handheld metal transmitter and one stationary steel receiver with clear displays, dual BNC antennas, XLR and 6.35 mm outputs, and RJ-45 connectivity. The system offers a wide audio frequency response and a high dynamic range suitable for professional sound reinforcement.
The handheld transmitter uses a cardioid dynamic SM58 capsule that focuses on the main sound source while reducing off-axis noise. The receiver provides up to 32 channels in the 470–514 MHz range and features low total harmonic distortion (0.02%) and a wide dynamic range (118 dB). Compact metal housings, dual antennas and both XLR and 6.35 mm outputs make the set compatible with mixing consoles and PA systems. The receiver includes an RJ-45 port and clear displays for easy monitoring and configuration.
Install batteries or a charged Li‑Ion cell in the handheld transmitter, power on both transmitter and receiver, and select a matching channel within the 470–514 MHz band. Mount the receiver antennas using the BNC connectors and connect the receiver to a mixing console or amplifier via the XLR or 6.35 mm output. Use the receiver display to monitor signal strength and audio levels; adjust gain on the mixer as needed. Aim the microphone toward the sound source and maintain a consistent distance for stable sound pickup.
Avoid contact with water. For best wireless performance, position the receiver antennas clear of large metal obstacles and maintain line-of-sight where possible. Use the XLR output for balanced connections to reduce noise in professional setups.
