Handheld wireless microphone system Shure SLXD24E/B58-G59 — UHF 470–514 MHz, 32 channels, super-cardioid, XLR & 1/4" outputs
Shure SLXD24E/B58-G59 is a handheld wireless microphone system operating in the UHF band (470–514 MHz). The system includes a handheld metal transmitter with an integrated display and a stationary steel receiver with BNC antenna connectors, RJ-45 port and both XLR and 6.35 mm (1/4") audio outputs. The microphone element is a dynamic B58-type with a super‑cardioid pickup pattern. The receiver supports up to 32 selectable channels and provides a wide dynamic range and low distortion for clear vocal reproduction.
The system combines a robust metal handheld transmitter and a compact steel receiver with clear displays for easy setup and monitoring. UHF operation across 470–514 MHz and 32 channels allow flexible frequency selection. XLR and 1/4" outputs support connection to professional mixers and consumer audio equipment. The super‑cardioid dynamic microphone reduces off‑axis noise while preserving natural vocals. Low total harmonic distortion and a wide dynamic range help maintain audio fidelity during performances.
Install two antennas on the receiver BNC connectors and connect the receiver to your mixer or amplifier using the XLR or 6.35 mm output. Power the receiver with the specified 15 V supply and insert a charged AA battery into the handheld transmitter. Turn on both transmitter and receiver, use the displays to select a common channel within the 470–514 MHz range, and verify RF and audio indicators. Adjust gain on the receiver and mixer to achieve the desired level while avoiding clipping.
Avoid contact with water. For reliable operation, choose a channel with minimal RF interference, keep line of sight between transmitter and receiver when possible, and use fresh or fully charged AA batteries to ensure consistent transmitter performance.
