Bodypack transmitter Shure SLXD1-G59, UHF 470–514 MHz, 32 channels, AA batteries, 8 h runtime
Shure SLXD1-G59 is a bodypack transmitter for wireless microphone systems operating in the UHF band (470–514 MHz). It provides 24-bit audio, 32 selectable channels and a maximum operating range of up to 100 m. The transmitter is powered by two AA batteries or a compatible accumulator and delivers up to 8 hours of runtime. Avoid contact with water.
The bodypack design ensures secure and unobtrusive attachment to the performer or presenter. 24-bit bit depth and a 118 dB dynamic range preserve audio detail and headroom. With 32 available channels and a broad RF range, the unit supports flexible frequency selection for interference management. Battery operation with standard AA cells offers easy replacement and field convenience.
Install two AA batteries or a compatible accumulator into the bodypack transmitter and switch the unit on. Select a channel that matches the receiver within the 470–514 MHz RF range and confirm a stable connection. Attach the transmitter to clothing or a belt using the integrated clip and connect a compatible lavalier or headset microphone to the transmitter’s input. Monitor audio and levels via the receiver and adjust gain as needed to avoid clipping.
Avoid exposing the transmitter to water or excessive moisture. For reliable operation, choose a clear line of sight between transmitter and receiver when possible and select channels that minimise interference. Keep spare AA batteries available for extended use.
