Reducer Tee SiGMA-Li TR4025 polypropylene (PP) 40×25×40 mm
Reducer tee SiGMA-Li TR4025 polypropylene (PP) 40×25×40 mm is a three-way pipe fitting made of polypropylene for connecting two same-diameter branches and one reduced branch. It provides a compact solution to divide or combine flow between two 40 mm pipes and a 25 mm pipe, suitable for potable water, heating and general plumbing installations where polypropylene components are specified.
The polypropylene construction offers chemical resistance, low weight and good dimensional stability across typical domestic and light commercial temperatures. The reducer tee ensures a smooth transition between pipe sizes to minimise flow disturbance and pressure loss. Its moulded design provides consistent wall thickness and reliable alignment for solvent-welded or mechanically joined polypropylene piping systems.
Install the reducer tee in accordance with applicable plumbing codes and the pipe manufacturer’s joining instructions. Prepare pipe ends by cutting square, deburring and cleaning. Use the recommended solvent-welding, mechanical coupling or fusion method appropriate for polypropylene systems to ensure leak-free joints. Allow sufficient curing or cooling time before pressurising the system and test the assembly at working pressure to verify the integrity of connections.
Store fittings in a dry, shaded area away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Select compatible PP pipe and joining method; inspect assembled joints for proper penetration and alignment before commissioning. For potable water systems, follow local regulations regarding materials and installation practices.
