Plastic compression coupling SiGMA-Li ZZ2512 for 25 mm (1/2") pipes
Plastic compression coupling SiGMA-Li ZZ2512 for 25 mm (1/2") pipes
SiGMA-Li ZZ2512 is a plastic compression coupling designed for 25 mm (1/2") pipes. The fitting creates a compact push-fit/clip-style connection that joins or repairs sections of plastic plumbing pipe without the need for permanent adhesives or soldering. Engineered for potable water and general domestic plumbing, this coupling supports straightforward, tool-friendly installation and reliable sealing when used with compatible 25 mm polyethylene, PEX or polypropylene pipes.
The coupling provides a fast push-fit assembly that reduces installation time while maintaining a secure, leak-resistant joint. Its plastic construction resists corrosion and mineral buildup, making it suitable for potable water systems. The design allows for a low-profile connection that fits easily into tight spaces and can be used for both new installations and repair work.
Ensure pipe ends are cut square, clean and free of burrs or debris. Slide the pipe into each end of the coupling until it reaches the internal stop; you should feel a positive engagement from the push-fit mechanism. For repair or replacement, isolate and drain the system before disconnecting the damaged section, then insert plain pipe ends into the coupling and confirm the seal. Follow local plumbing regulations for system pressure testing before returning the installation to service.
Use with compatible plastic pipe types (PE, PEX, PP) sized 25 mm (1/2"). Avoid exposure to direct sunlight for prolonged periods and protect from high-temperature sources. Do not use for gas applications. After installation, perform a pressure test according to local codes to verify leak-tight performance.
