The SilentiumPC Fortis 5 is a high-performance air cooler designed in collaboration with Synergy Cooling. It features a newly developed two-axis asymmetrical heatsink with densely packed fins, a reinforced base with six direct-touch heat pipes, and the Fluctus 140 mm fan optimized for high static pressure, strong airflow and quiet operation. Available variants include the single-fan Fortis 5, the Fortis 5 Dual Fan (140 mm front + 120 mm rear) and the Fortis 5 ARGB with addressable LED lighting. The cooler is compatible with a wide range of Intel and AMD sockets and comes with a 6-year manufacturer warranty.

How to use

Install the Fortis 5 following the supplied pictorial manual or video guide. Mount the heatsink on the processor ensuring the indicated airflow direction for optimal performance. Attach the Fluctus fan to the heatsink using the included clips; a second fan can be added for a push–pull configuration. Connect the fan to a PWM header on the motherboard to enable automatic speed control and optional semi-passive operation. Apply the included Pactum PT-3 thermal paste to the CPU before seating the cooler.

Usage recommendations

For best results set a PWM fan curve that allows the fan to remain stopped at very low duty cycles for silent idle operation, and to ramp up smoothly under load. Ensure case airflow supports the indicated cooler orientation and consider adding a second fan if your case has restricted intake or exhaust airflow.
