Silver 125mm Polishing Pad M14 Hard White

The Silver 125mm Polishing Pad M14 Hard White is a high-density foam disc designed for effective automotive paint correction, detailing, and heavy defect removal. Featuring an integrated M14 thread mount, this white hard polishing pad attaches directly to compatible rotary polishers for reliable performance. It is engineered to work efficiently with cutting compounds to eliminate deep scratches, severe oxidation, and persistent paint imperfections, making it a practical choice for both professional detailers and DIY enthusiasts.

Advantages

This hard white polishing pad provides exceptional cutting performance, allowing for the rapid breakdown of heavy paint defects and deep scratches. Its high-density foam structure ensures optimal pressure distribution and durability during intensive correction tasks, maintaining its shape and efficiency over multiple uses. The direct M14 thread mount offers a secure and stable connection to rotary polishers, minimizing vibration and enhancing control. Designed specifically for cutting compounds, it delivers consistent results on various automotive clear coats and painted surfaces.

Suitable for

• Removing deep scratches and heavy paint defects from automotive surfaces
• Correcting severe oxidation and weathered paint
• Pairing with aggressive cutting compounds during the initial stages of paint correction
• Professional automotive detailing workshops and home garage use with rotary polishers

When it may not be suitable

This hard white polishing pad is not recommended for finishing stages, soft paint types, or delicate surfaces where fine gloss enhancement is required, as its high cutting action may leave haze. It is also unsuitable for dual-action polishers that require hook-and-loop backing plates rather than a direct M14 thread mount.

Key specifications

• Diameter: 125 mm
• Density/Type: Hard white foam
• Mount type: M14 thread
• Application: Paint correction and cutting

How to use

Ensure the vehicle surface is thoroughly washed, decontaminated, and dry before starting the correction process. Attach the polishing pad securely to a compatible rotary polisher via the M14 thread mount. Apply an appropriate amount of heavy cutting compound to the pad. Spread the product evenly across a manageable section of the paint at a low speed before increasing the machine speed for the correction pass. Maintain moderate, even pressure and keep the polisher moving continuously to prevent localized overheating. Wipe away compound residue with a clean microfiber towel and inspect the finish before proceeding to intermediate and finishing pads.

What to consider before purchase

• Verify that your polishing machine is compatible with an M14 thread mount system
• Assess the condition of the vehicle paint to ensure a hard cutting pad is required
• Ensure you have appropriate intermediate and finishing pads, as well as finer compounds, for subsequent paint correction steps

Always inspect the condition of the foam pad before and after each use, clean it regularly during operation to prevent compound buildup, and store it in a dry, dust-free environment away from direct sunlight.
