Computer case Silverstone SST-DS380B Mini-ITX Black
The SilverStone SST-DS380B is a compact Mini-ITX computer case engineered to provide high storage capacity in a small form factor. Constructed from aluminium and stainless steel with a black finish, it measures 211 mm (W) x 360 mm (D) x 285 mm (H) and supports standard Mini-ITX motherboards, standard-length dual-slot expansion cards, and entry-level liquid CPU cooling. The chassis includes two 120 mm intake fans and one 120 mm exhaust fan, externally removable top and side filters, an LED indicator with adjustable brightness, and a lockable front door and power button. Its signature modular eight hot-swappable drive cage supports both 3.5" and 2.5" drives and a custom back-panel PCB compatible with SATA and SAS interfaces, making the DS380B suitable for compact NAS and media-focused SFF builds.
The SST-DS380B combines a small footprint with extensive drive capacity through an eight-bay hot-swappable modular cage and SATA/SAS back-panel compatibility. It supports standard Mini-ITX components including dual-slot expansion cards and entry-level liquid CPU cooling, while a three-fan layout and removable dust filters provide reliable airflow and easy maintenance. Security and usability are addressed with an adjustable LED indicator and a lockable front door and power button.
Install a Mini-ITX motherboard and route cables to maintain airflow. Mount drives into the modular hot-swappable cages and connect them to the back-panel PCB using SATA or SAS as required. Place the intake and exhaust fans in their positions and attach the removable filters to the top and side to prevent dust ingress. If using liquid CPU cooling, install an entry-level radiator compatible with Mini-ITX layouts and ensure clearance for the chosen expansion card. Use the front lock to secure the door and adjust LED brightness as needed.
