Cooling fan SILVERSTONE FTF 6010 PWM 60mm - PWM control, 60 x 60 x 10 mm
SILVERSTONE FTF 6010 PWM 60mm is a compact cooling fan engineered for constrained mounting spaces in PC cases, small form-factor systems and specific component cooling points. With dimensions of 60 x 60 x 10 mm and PWM speed control, the fan adjusts its rotational speed automatically according to motherboard or controller signals to balance airflow and acoustic performance. The design focuses on delivering targeted airflow where larger fans cannot fit, aiming to lower local temperatures for drives, VRMs, chipsets and other tightly packed components.
The small footprint and slim 10 mm thickness allow installation in narrow gaps and specialized brackets. PWM control enables automatic speed modulation for quieter operation at low loads and increased airflow when temperatures rise. The fan’s construction is intended to provide stable rotation and consistent airflow, making it suitable for continuous operation in compact systems. Its 60 mm diameter offers a compromise between size and performance for targeted cooling tasks.
Install the fan in the intended mounting location ensuring correct airflow orientation toward the component that requires cooling. Connect the fan’s PWM-compatible cable to the motherboard or a compatible fan controller header that supports PWM signals to enable automatic speed regulation. Secure the fan with appropriate screws or mounting hardware and verify there is no obstruction to the blades. After installation, check BIOS or fan-control software to confirm PWM control is active and adjust target temperature or fan curves if required.
Use the fan in locations with adequate clearance and an appropriate power/header configuration. For optimal results, enable PWM control in the system BIOS or fan-control utility and set conservative fan curves to balance noise and cooling. Avoid placing the fan where cable tension or foreign objects could interfere with the blades.
