Fan Silverstone Shark Force 120 ARGB 2500 RPM 4.66 mmH2O
SilverStone Shark Force 120 ARGB is a 120mm PWM case fan with a maximum rotational speed of 2500 RPM and a maximum static pressure of 4.66 mmH2O. The fan uses Fluid Dynamic Bearing (FDB) for quieter operation and longer life, and features a black-and-white color scheme. It connects via standard 4‑1 pin ARGB and PWM headers and is designed for case and component cooling in PC builds.
The Shark Force blade pattern, inspired by shark skin, passively modifies airflow to improve the pressure distribution along the blades, increasing airflow performance while reducing noise. A three-phase, six-pole motor provides higher torque than typical single-phase, four-pole fans, and the FDB ensures smooth and reliable operation. The fan supports PWM control for variable speeds from quiet idle to high-performance operation, and the modular cabling design allows independent connection or disconnection of power and ARGB lighting for simpler cable management.
Install the SilverStone Shark Force 120 ARGB in a 120mm fan mount in your case or on a compatible radiator/heatsink, aligning the airflow direction according to your cooling layout. Connect the PWM power cable to the motherboard fan header to enable automatic speed control. Attach the 4‑1 pin ARGB connector to a compatible ARGB header or controller to enable lighting; the modular cables allow you to leave ARGB disconnected if lighting is not needed. Secure the fan with the supplied screws and verify clearance before powering on the system.
For balanced cooling and noise, use PWM control and let the motherboard adjust fan speed based on system temperatures. For radiator mounting, orient the fan to provide the required static pressure towards the fins. If ARGB lighting is not required, disconnect the ARGB cable to simplify cable routing and reduce connector usage.
