Terminal block Simet universal for single- and multi-core conductors 5-pole 2.5 mm² 24 A gray (ZU-405)
Universal terminal block Simet ZU-405 for single- and multi-core conductors provides a compact five-pole connection with a nominal cross-section of 2.5 mm² and rated current up to 24 A. The gray insulated housing is designed for safe, reliable terminations in distribution boards, control panels, junction boxes and compact installations where multiple conductors must be terminated in a small footprint. The connector accepts both solid and stranded conductors and is intended for wiring, signal and power circuits that require organized multi-pole termination.
The Simet universal terminal block combines a compact 5-pole layout with a robust insulated body that reduces the risk of short circuits and mechanical damage. Its design supports standard 2.5 mm² conductors and 24 A current carrying capacity, enabling use in a variety of low-voltage applications. The gray housing allows easy visual integration into neutral or general-purpose wiring schemes and the universal clamping mechanism simplifies conductor insertion for both single- and multi-core wires.
Prepare conductors by stripping insulation to the length recommended for the terminal block. Insert each conductor into the appropriate pole and secure it with the clamping mechanism according to the manufacturer's torque guidance. Ensure that conductors are fully inserted and that no bare wire is exposed outside the insulated housing. Mount the terminal block in the panel, on a DIN-rail or in a junction box as required, and verify electrical continuity and tightness after installation.
Use conductors within the specified 2.5 mm² cross-section and keep the rated current limit of 24 A in mind to avoid overload. Match conductor stripping length to the terminal's clamp depth, and, where applicable, use a suitable ferrule for stranded conductors to improve contact reliability. Perform insulation and polarity checks after installation and follow local electrical regulations and safety practices.
