SIPO SBS-D11 Sliding Door and Window Security Lock, 2 Pieces

The SIPO SBS-D11 sliding door and window security lock is a reliable safety device engineered to restrict the movement of sliding panels. This set of two locks provides a robust barrier against unauthorized opening, making it an essential addition for households looking to enhance security and child safety. The mechanism is designed to be unobtrusive while maintaining a firm grip on the track, effectively preventing sliding doors or windows from being opened by children or unwanted visitors.

Advantages

These security locks offer a straightforward and effective way to secure sliding systems without the need for complex tools or permanent modifications to your window or door frames. The compact design ensures that the locks do not interfere with the aesthetic of your home while providing peace of mind. By limiting the sliding range, these devices significantly reduce the risk of accidents, such as children opening balcony doors or windows unsupervised, and provide an extra layer of protection against forced entry.

Suitable for

• Securing balcony sliding doors
• Locking sliding windows in residential buildings
• Preventing children from opening patio doors
• Adding security to sliding wardrobe doors

This product may not be suitable for windows or doors that do not operate on a sliding track mechanism, such as traditional casement windows or hinged doors. Additionally, it may not be effective on tracks that are excessively wide or have non-standard profiles that prevent the lock from clamping securely.

Key specifications

• Quantity: 2 pieces per set
• Compatibility: Sliding doors and windows
• Installation method: Non-invasive clamping
• Primary function: Restricting sliding movement

To use the SIPO SBS-D11, simply place the lock onto the track of your sliding door or window. Adjust the position to the desired opening width or fully closed position, then tighten the integrated screw mechanism until the lock is firmly secured in place. Ensure the lock is positioned so that it prevents the sliding panel from moving past the desired point.

What to consider before purchase

• Measure the width of your sliding track to ensure compatibility
• Verify that there is sufficient clearance for the lock to be installed
• Consider the number of windows or doors you need to secure

For optimal safety, regularly check that the locks remain tightly fastened to the track, especially in high-traffic areas. Ensure the locks are positioned out of reach of small children to prevent them from tampering with the settings.
