Camera Cage SmallRig 3531 for Sony ZV-E10 with Multiple Mounting Options
SmallRig 3531 is a camera cage specifically shaped for the Sony ZV-E10. It surrounds the camera body with a lightweight aluminium frame that keeps full access to controls, battery and card compartments while adding multiple threaded and cold-shoe mounting points. The cage is intended to increase protection and expandability for vlogging, run-and-gun shooting and general content-creation setups by providing reliable attachment locations for microphones, lights, monitors and handles.
The cage offers a form-fitting design that preserves the camera's ergonomic access to buttons and ports while adding threaded 1/4"-20 and 3/8" mounting points and cold shoes for accessories. Its aluminium construction balances low weight with structural rigidity to reduce flex and protect the camera during handheld use. The design maintains access to battery and memory card compartments and allows quick mounting on tripods or gimbals via a solid base plate. Multiple mounting options make it simple to build modular rigs without obstructing the camera's view or connectivity.
Attach the cage to the Sony ZV-E10 by aligning the camera in the form-fitting frame and securing it with the supplied locking screw or quick-release mechanism. Mount accessories such as microphones or lights on the available cold shoes and threaded holes, keeping cable routing clear of articulating screens and battery doors. Use the base plate to attach the caged camera to a tripod, gimbal or handle, and check that all fasteners are snug before operation. For frequent accessory changes, keep compatible screws and a small hex key or screwdriver accessible.
When building a rig, balance mounted accessories to avoid excessive front- or side-heavy configurations; place heavier items near the camera body and use multiple mounting points to distribute load. Regularly verify that the cage does not block the articulating screen or interfere with lens operation, and tighten fasteners before shooting to ensure stable and repeatable setup.
