Key specifications

• Universal compatibility with a wide range of smartphone models
• Equipped with multiple cold shoe mounts for accessories
• Features 1/4-inch threaded holes for tripods and handles
• Designed to enhance handheld stability and video recording quality

How to use

To use the SmallRig 2791 Universal Smartphone Video Rig, adjust the built-in mechanism to match the width of your smartphone and secure the device tightly within the cage. Once the phone is firmly locked in place, attach any necessary accessories such as an LED light or microphone to the available cold shoe mounts or threaded holes. You can mount the entire rig onto a tripod using the standard 1/4-inch threaded connection or hold it securely with both hands for stable handheld recording.

What to consider before purchase

• Check your smartphone dimensions to ensure compatibility with the universal adjustment range
• Consider which external accessories, such as lights and microphones, you plan to attach
• Evaluate whether you prefer a handheld cage setup over traditional tripods or gimbals

For optimal results during extended shooting sessions, balance the weight of your accessories evenly across the rig and check all mounting points regularly to ensure equipment remains secure.
