Uninterruptible Power Supply Socomec NETYS PR Mini Tower NPR-1500-MT
The Socomec NETYS PR Mini Tower NPR-1500-MT is a line-interactive uninterruptible power supply (UPS) with a capacity of 1.5 kVA and an output power of 1050 W. Designed in a compact mini-tower format, it uses Sealed Lead Acid (VRLA) battery technology and provides six IEC C13 AC outlets, a USB Type-B communication port and active cooling. Typical runtime at full load is approximately 6 minutes, making this UPS suitable for short-term backup, controlled shutdowns and protection against voltage disturbances.
This professional line-interactive UPS ensures service continuity for critical applications by combining sinewave inverter technology with an Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR) function that corrects mains fluctuations without engaging battery mode in normal disturbances. The mini-tower enclosure permits placement close to the protected IT load, while the graphical LCD control panel offers intuitive monitoring of operating mode and status. Multiple IEC 320 (C13) sockets simplify connections to computers and peripherals, and integrated NTP protection shields LAN/ADSL data lines from overvoltage.
Place the UPS on a stable, ventilated surface near the equipment to be protected, leaving clearance around the enclosure for airflow. Connect your devices to the IEC C13 outlets and plug the UPS into a grounded mains outlet. Use the graphical LCD control panel to verify operating mode and battery status; connect a host computer to the USB Type-B port if you require monitoring or automated shutdown via compatible software. Test the configuration by simulating a mains interruption to confirm that connected equipment remains powered and that shutdown procedures execute as expected.
For reliable operation, install the UPS in a dry, dust-free environment with ambient temperature within the manufacturer’s recommended range. Avoid fully discharging the battery frequently; use the AVR function to reduce unnecessary battery cycles. Periodically inspect battery condition and replace VRLA batteries according to usage and age. When connecting multiple devices, ensure the combined load does not exceed 1050 W to maintain the nominal backup time.
