SOFT99 Glaco Roll On Large is a high-performance liquid wiper treatment designed to enhance visibility for automotive glass. By creating a robust hydrophobic barrier, this product effectively repels water, rain, and sleet, allowing droplets to bead up and roll off the surface at higher speeds. The 120 ml bottle features a wide, integrated roll-on applicator that simplifies the application process, ensuring a uniform layer across the entire windshield for consistent performance.
Advantages
The primary benefit of this liquid wiper is the significant improvement in driving safety during heavy rain or adverse weather conditions. The durable coating reduces the need for frequent windshield wiper usage and prevents the accumulation of dirt and grime on the glass surface. Its large applicator head allows for quick and efficient coverage of large windshields, making the maintenance process straightforward and time-saving for any vehicle owner.
Suitable for
- Passenger cars and SUVs
- Windshields and side windows
- Driving in heavy rain or sleet
- Improving visibility during night driving
When it may not be suitable
This product is specifically formulated for exterior automotive glass and should not be applied to plastic surfaces, mirrors, or the interior side of the glass. It may not be effective if the glass surface is heavily contaminated with oil or old wax residues that have not been properly cleaned prior to application.
Key specifications
- Volume: 120 ml
- Application type: Roll-on applicator
- Function: Hydrophobic water repellent
- Compatibility: Automotive glass
How to use
Before application, ensure the windshield is thoroughly cleaned and completely dry to allow for proper bonding of the coating. Remove the cap and press the felt head against the glass, squeezing the bottle slightly to release the liquid. Apply the solution evenly across the surface in a circular or cross-hatch motion, ensuring no gaps are left. Allow the product to dry for 5 to 10 minutes until a white haze appears, then wipe it off cleanly with a dry, soft microfiber cloth.
What to consider before purchase
- Ensure the glass is free of grease and dirt before application
- Avoid application in direct sunlight or on hot glass surfaces
- Do not use on interior glass surfaces
- Check that the applicator is fully saturated before starting
Usage recommendations
For optimal durability and performance, avoid using windshield wipers immediately after application and allow the coating to cure for at least 12 hours if possible. Reapply the product periodically to maintain the hydrophobic effect.
