Patch keystone connector SOLARIX CAT5E UTP self-locking module
The SOLARIX Patch keystone connector CAT5E UTP self-locking module is a tool-free insert for keystone-compatible panels and faceplates that provides unshielded twisted-pair connectivity for Ethernet networks up to Category 5e performance. Designed for simple installation and modular expansion, the module enables quick port replacement or addition without special tools and fits standard keystone apertures used in structured cabling systems for offices and homes.
This self-locking keystone module offers a compact, low-profile design that secures in place without screws or clips, reducing installation time and minimizing the need for additional hardware. As an unshielded CAT5E component it supports typical Ethernet applications at up to 1000BASE-T where CAT5E cabling is appropriate, and its tool-free termination simplifies field work and service tasks. The module’s compatibility with common keystone panels and faceplates allows flexible port layout and fast maintenance or upgrades.
Insert the SOLARIX keystone module into a compatible keystone panel or faceplate until it snaps into the opening and locks. Terminate the network cable according to the desired wiring scheme for CAT5E (T568A or T568B), following standard pair alignment and maintaining proper pair untwisting limits. After termination, confirm physical seating of the module and test connectivity with a network cable tester to verify signal continuity and correct pair mapping.
Use the module with CAT5E-rated UTP cabling and balanced Ethernet equipment; avoid mixing shielded and unshielded components in the same link. Maintain cable bend radius and limit untwisting to recommended lengths during termination to preserve performance. For higher bandwidth requirements or installations in high-interference environments, consider higher-category or shielded alternatives.
