SOLARIX SXKJ-5E-UTP-BK-90 is a CAT5E UTP keystone jack with a 90° orientation designed for installation in modular wall plates and patch panels. It provides an unshielded 8P8C termination for standard Ethernet cabling and meets CAT5E requirements defined by TIA/EIA 568, EN 50173 and ISO 11801. The jack uses a dual 110/Krone punch-down block and accepts solid conductors AWG 26–22, offering a compact right-angle solution for installations in confined spaces.

How to use

Mount the keystone jack into a compatible modular insert or patch panel at the intended 90° orientation. Prepare the UTP cable by stripping the outer sheath and arranging pairs according to the chosen wiring scheme (T568A or T568B). Use a 110/Krone punch-down tool to terminate individual conductors into the dual punch-down block; the block accepts AWG 26–22 conductors. After punching down, trim excess wire and snap the jack into the wall plate or patch panel. For repeated mating, the RJ45 port supports the specified insertion/removal cycles.

Usage recommendations

For safer and more convenient punch-down operations, use the dedicated mounting holder (model SXKJ-MD-BU) to secure the keystone on the work surface. Follow standard cabling practices and test the terminated link with a cable tester to verify continuity and performance for CAT5E installations.
