The Sonnet Echo II DV Desktop is a Thunderbolt to PCIe expansion system that lets you connect two full-length PCIe cards to computers with Thunderbolt 4 or Thunderbolt 3 ports. It provides two PCIe 3.0 card slots, each driven by its own Thunderbolt interface, enabling high-bandwidth DV I/O cards to operate from modern Mac, Windows, and Linux systems that lack internal PCIe slots.

Advantages

The enclosure supports two full-length (12.28 in) PCIe cards and makes use of dedicated Thunderbolt buses so each card receives its own bandwidth. It includes two Thunderbolt cables and supports daisy-chaining when a computer has only one Thunderbolt port. For maximum performance with multiple bandwidth-hungry cards, the unit can be connected to two separate Thunderbolt ports on the host computer.
