Sonstige 77810 Fibre Optic Cable 3 m OS1/OS2 9 µm LC to SC Blue Yellow

The Sonstige 77810 fibre optic cable provides reliable and stable connectivity for high-speed data transmission and telecommunication applications. With a length of 3 metres, this patch cable is designed to connect network equipment efficiently over short to medium distances. It features an OS1/OS2 single-mode fibre type with a 9 µm core diameter, ensuring low signal attenuation and optimal bandwidth for modern network infrastructures. Equipped with two LC connectors on one end and two SC connectors on the other, it allows for seamless device integration across different interface standards.

Advantages

This full duplex fibre optic cable ensures simultaneous bidirectional data transmission, increasing overall network efficiency. The combination of precision LC and SC connectors guarantees a secure and stable physical connection, minimizing the risk of accidental disconnection or signal loss. Built with high-quality single-mode fibre standards, it supports demanding data rates and long-term network reliability without degradation in performance.

Suitable for

• Connecting network switches and routers in enterprise environments
• Telecommunication applications requiring single-mode connectivity
• Interfacing network hardware with LC and SC ports
• High-speed data transmission in structured cabling systems

This cable may not be suitable for multi-mode fibre networks or environments that strictly require connector types other than LC and SC. It is also not intended for outdoor installations unless properly protected within an appropriate conduit or enclosure.

Key specifications

• Cable length: 3 metres
• Fibre optic type: OS1/OS2
• Core diameter: 9 µm
• Connector type 1: 2x LC male
• Connector type 2: 2x SC male
• Transmission mode: Full duplex
• Color: Blue and yellow

To use the fibre optic cable, carefully inspect the connectors for any dust or debris before installation. Remove the protective dust caps from both the LC and SC connectors immediately prior to plugging them into the corresponding ports of your network devices. Push the connector straight into the port until you hear or feel a secure click, ensuring proper alignment to prevent physical damage to the fibre ferrule.

Before purchasing, verify that your active network equipment supports single-mode OS1/OS2 fibre and check the port compatibility on your devices to ensure they match the LC and SC connector types. Measure the required distance between your connected hardware to confirm that the 3-metre length is sufficient for your installation layout.

Usage recommendations: Route the fibre optic cable carefully, avoiding sharp bends, excessive tension, or heavy crushing forces that could damage the internal glass core and degrade network performance.
