The Sony ECM-W3S is a compact single-channel wireless microphone system designed for clear digital audio capture. It consists of a microphone-transmitter with high signal-to-noise (S/N) microphone units and a single-channel receiver. The transmitter and receiver process and transmit audio digitally, enabling low-noise recording of a single speaker's voice and direct digital output to compatible Sony cameras.

How to use

Attach the receiver to a compatible Sony camera using the Multi Interface (MI) Shoe or connect the receiver to a device via 3.5 mm cable or USB. Place the transmitter on the speaker (or clip a lavalier mic into its 3.5 mm input) and use the included wind screen when shooting outdoors.
