Trash bags Sortex 140 L black, 35 µm, 70 x 110 cm, pack of 10

Sortex 140 L black trash bags are polyethylene refuse liners sized 70 x 110 cm with a nominal wall thickness of 35 µm. Supplied as a pack of 10, these bags are designed for collection and temporary storage of household and commercial waste, bulky refuse and garden debris. The dark black colour conceals contents and the rectangular dimensions accommodate large indoor and outdoor bins with a capacity around 140 litres.

Advantages

These 140 L trash bags combine a straightforward fit for large bins with a moderate 35 µm thickness that offers basic puncture and tear resistance for everyday waste. Being made of polyethylene, the bags are flexible for easy placement and removal, and their black colouring provides discreet waste containment. The pack format of 10 bags is convenient for regular replacement and transport.

Suitable for

• Domestic waste collection in kitchens, garages and cellars
• Commercial premises with large bins, such as offices and small retail outlets
• Garden cleanup: leaves, grass clippings and light branches
• Temporary storage and handling of bulky refuse during clear-outs

Key specifications

• Capacity: approximately 140 litres
• Material: polyethylene film
• Wall thickness: 35 micrometres
• Dimensions: 70 x 110 cm (width x height)
• Colour: black
• Pack quantity: 10 bags

How to use

Select a bag from the pack and unfold it fully before placing the open end over the rim of a compatible bin. Ensure the base sits flat inside the bin to distribute weight evenly. Do not overfill: leave sufficient headroom to close the bin lid or fold the bag neck securely. When transporting, tie or knot the bag neck and lift using the reinforced portion of the film if present; avoid dragging heavy, sharp objects across the bag surface to reduce puncture risk.

Usage recommendations

For longer service life, avoid placing sharp metal or glass items directly into the bag without protective wrapping. Use multiple bags for heavy or compacted loads and replace bags regularly to prevent leaks and odour build-up. Store the pack in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to maintain film integrity.
