Home audio system Soundmaster MCD1950SW — 20 W RMS, DAB+/FM, CD/MP3 playback, 3.5 mm aux, AC power (Black)
Soundmaster MCD1950SW is a compact home audio system offering a total output of 20 W RMS. It supports digital DAB+ and analog FM radio reception, plays audio CDs including CD-R and CD-RW discs with MP3 files, and provides a 3.5 mm aux/headphone connection. The unit is powered from AC mains and includes repeat and shuffle playback modes, making it suitable for everyday listening in living rooms, kitchens and bedrooms.
The system combines radio versatility and physical media playback in a single, space-saving chassis. DAB+ reception enables access to digital radio stations with improved audio quality and station information, while FM ensures compatibility with legacy broadcasts. CD and MP3 playback from disc or USB (where supported by the device) allow continued use of existing music collections. Integrated bass and treble controls and pre-programmed equalizer settings let users adjust sound to room acoustics and personal preference. A 3.5 mm aux input and headphone jack provide direct connections for external devices and private listening.
Connect the AC adapter to a mains outlet and the system, then extend and position the supplied antenna for best radio reception. Insert a CD or connect a USB drive to play stored MP3 files, or pair a Bluetooth source if wireless playback is required. Use the front-panel controls, remote control or the 2.4" colour display to select radio bands, tracks or playback modes. Adjust bass, treble or select a pre-programmed equalizer setting to suit your listening environment. Use the 3.5 mm aux input to connect external audio sources, or the RCA line out to feed another amplifier or recorder.
For optimal radio reception place the external antenna upright and away from large metal objects; when playing CDs use discs without deep scratches and choose CD-R/RW discs finalised for compatibility. Keep the device ventilated and avoid placing it on soft surfaces that block air flow to maintain reliable operation of the optical disc mechanism and amplifier.
