Stanley Fatmax Eye Hook Anchor for Solid Walls 14 x 50mm

The Stanley Fatmax Eye Hook Anchor for Solid Walls 14 x 50mm is a professional-grade anchoring solution designed to provide secure and dependable fastening in solid building materials. Manufactured by Stanley, this reliable fastener integrates a sturdy eye hook directly into the anchor body, combining high load-bearing stability with convenient hanging functionality. It is engineered for both construction professionals and DIY enthusiasts who require robust performance when anchoring items to solid substrates such as concrete, stone, or solid brick.

Advantages

This eye hook anchor delivers exceptional holding strength in dense and solid base materials, ensuring that suspended items remain securely fixed over time. The integrated hook eliminates the need for separate hardware components, streamlining the installation process for various overhead and wall-mounting tasks. Constructed from durable materials engineered to withstand significant mechanical stress, it provides long-term reliability in demanding work environments. Its design facilitates efficient expansion upon installation, creating a tight and stable friction grip within the drilled hole.

Suitable for

• Hanging cables and wiring systems in commercial or residential buildings
• Securing light fixtures and decorative elements to solid walls
• Suspension applications involving ropes, chains, or tension wires
• Professional construction and renovation projects requiring solid wall anchoring
• DIY garage and workshop organization tasks

When it may not be suitable

This anchor is not designed for use in hollow walls, drywall, plasterboard, or aerated concrete blocks, as these materials cannot provide the necessary expansion pressure for a secure hold. It should also be avoided in applications requiring dynamic load-bearing or movement, as the anchor is intended strictly for static suspension and fastening purposes.

Key specifications

• Anchor type: Eye hook anchor
• Target substrate: Solid building materials
• Dimensions: 14 x 50 mm
• Brand: Stanley Fatmax

How to use

To install the anchor correctly, first drill a hole into the solid wall matching the required diameter and depth of the fastener. Clean any dust and debris thoroughly from the drilled hole to ensure maximum friction and holding capability. Insert the anchor into the hole until it is flush with the surface. Apply the appropriate tightening method to ensure the anchor expands fully and locks securely into the surrounding solid material. Once firmly set, attach your cables, fixtures, or suspension elements directly to the integrated eye hook.

What to consider before purchase

• Verify that your wall material consists of solid building substrates such as concrete or solid brick rather than hollow cavities.
• Check the 14 x 50mm dimensions against your application requirements and available clearance space.
• Ensure the maximum load capacity matches the weight of the items you intend to hang.

Usage recommendations: Always use the correct drill bit size recommended for solid wall anchors to ensure a precise fit. Wear appropriate safety glasses and protective gear during the drilling and installation process. Regularly inspect installed anchors for signs of wear or loosening, particularly in high-traffic areas.
