Taping Knife STANLEY Stainless Steel THT0-05776, Blade 30.5 cm, Length 310 mm, Black/Yellow Handle
STANLEY Stainless Steel Taping Knife with a 30.5 cm blade width and an overall length of 310 mm. The stainless-steel blade is resistant to rust and provides a straight edge for applying joint compound, smoothing drywall seams and finishing plaster. The tool is supplied as a single-piece pack and features a black and yellow bi-material handle for comfortable grip and better control during use.
The stainless-steel blade resists corrosion and is easy to clean, while the tapered blade profile from handle to tip offers controlled flexibility for smoother finishing. The bi-material handle improves comfort and protection during prolonged use, and a hang hole in the handle enables convenient storage. A smooth zinc-alloy cap reinforces the handle end for increased durability.
Hold the taping knife by the bi-material handle and load the blade with a thin layer of joint compound. Apply compound along seams or damaged areas using even pressure, then use the tapered blade edge to smooth and feather the compound. Clean the stainless-steel blade after use with water and a mild detergent, then dry to maintain the finish.
For best results, use the 30.5 cm blade for wider seams and large-area finishing; apply thin successive layers of compound rather than a single thick layer. Store the tool hanging by the handle hang hole to protect the blade edge.
