POS printer Star Micronics TSP143IV UE WT 80mm Wired Wireless
The Star Micronics TSP143IV UE WT is a compact thermal POS printer designed for reliable receipt printing in retail and hospitality environments. It uses direct thermal technology with a resolution of 203 x 203 DPI and supports multiple connectivity options including USB-C, USB-A, Ethernet LAN and optional Wireless LAN, enabling flexible integration with Windows, macOS, Linux and Android devices. The unit is 20% smaller than previous TSP100III models, includes an internal power supply and supports horizontal, vertical and wall-mounted installation.
The TSP143IV combines proven TSP100 series reliability with improved connectivity and specialist printing features such as CloudPRNT for web-based printing. Its compact design saves counter space while offering USB-C and USB-A ports plus Ethernet for wired setups and optional wireless via an adapter. Android Open Accessory (AOA) support allows compatible Android tablets and accessories to communicate and charge directly over USB. Star Micronics Cloud Services enables device monitoring and additional cloud features. The printer ships with required cables, a paper guide and a four-year warranty.
Connect the printer to your POS device using the supplied interface cable (USB-C for modern PCs and tablets or USB-A for some Android devices) or via Ethernet for networked setups. Install the printer using Star’s Quick Set-up Utility for simple plug-and-play configuration; drivers are available for Windows, macOS and Linux. For Android devices, enable AOA support where applicable to allow communication and charging over USB. Install paper roll with the 58mm guide if required and verify settings in your POS or cloud application to enable CloudPRNT when printing from web-based systems.
Use the optional Wireless LAN adapter for wireless deployments and enable CloudPRNT for direct printing from web applications. Keep the printer placed to allow airflow around the internal power supply and use recommended thermal paper to ensure print longevity and reliability.
