Label printer Star Micronics mC-Label2 — direct thermal, 300×300 DPI, 180 mm/s, 20–60 mm media, Ethernet/Wi‑Fi/Bluetooth, USB (black)
Star Micronics mC-Label2 is a direct thermal label printer offering 300×300 DPI resolution and a maximum print speed of 180 mm/s. Designed in a compact 2-inch form factor with front-loading and front-exit media handling, the mC-Label2 supports linerless, die-cut, receipt and continuous media and accepts media widths from 20 to 60 mm. Cloud-ready and compatible with Star Micronics Cloud Services, StarIO.Online and Label Builder, the printer can store up to three static label designs for One Touch Label printing and works with iOS, Android and Windows devices. Available in wired and wireless models, it provides USB-C power and data, Ethernet, Wi‑Fi and Bluetooth connectivity to suit retail, logistics and on‑demand label applications.
The mC-Label2 combines high-resolution printing with a small footprint and front-exit layout, enabling installation under counters or on crowded shelves. Its 300 dpi thermal engine delivers crisp text and graphics for small-format labels, while support for linerless and die-cut media expands usage options. Connectivity choices (Ethernet, Wi‑Fi, Bluetooth and USB) plus CloudPRNT Next and StarIO.Online compatibility allow centralized management and flexible deployment. Tool-free maintenance, color-coded components and built-in alerts simplify servicing without specialist tools.
Load media through the front-loading mechanism and route labels through the front exit for immediate printing. Connect the printer to a host device via USB-C, Ethernet, Wi‑Fi or Bluetooth and install drivers or use cloud printing tools supported by Star Micronics. Use Label Builder or StarIO.Online to create templates and upload up to three static One Touch Label designs to the device for offline quick printing. Follow on-screen or app-based setup for BLE-assisted Wi‑Fi configuration when available.
For best print quality, use recommended thermal media in the specified width range and avoid exposing labels to direct sunlight or abrasive surfaces. Enable routine cleaning alerts and follow color-coded component instructions for tool-free maintenance. When deploying multiple devices, use StarIO.Online or CloudPRNT Next to centralize configuration and firmware updates.
