It resolves DCE/DTE conflicts without additional cross-wired cables or adapters, provides LED indicators for transmit, receive and USB status, and includes interchangeable slotted D-Sub thumbscrews plus DB-9 nuts for secure attachment to serial devices. The adapter uses an FTDI-based chipset, supports COM port retention, and is compatible with Windows, macOS, ChromeOS and Linux.
