The StarTech Sit Stand Monitor Arm ARMSTSCP1 converts a desk or tabletop into an ergonomic sit-stand workstation. It includes an integrated keyboard tray and an adjustable monitor mount so you can switch between sitting and standing without interrupting your workflow. The arm supports a single VESA-mounted display up to 34" (or a 27" standard monitor) and provides height, swivel and tilt adjustments to position your screen and keyboard comfortably.

Advantages

The gas-spring height adjustment lets you raise the work surface smoothly up to 17.7" (450 mm) while the monitor mount provides an additional 4.9" (124 mm) of height adjustment along the column. The arm supports a maximum weight of 8 kg and a 100 x 100 mm VESA interface, offers +/-90° swivel, tilt capability and 360° rotation for portrait or landscape orientation. A large keyboard tray (449 x 207 mm) with a slide-out mouse tray (217 x 213 mm) gives ample working space, and the keyboard tray can fold up to 90° to save space when not in use. The unit can be installed using the included grommet assembly or desk clamp to suit different desk types.

How to use

Mount the ARMSTSCP1 to your desk using the grommet assembly or the included desk clamp according to the supplied instructions. Attach your VESA-compatible monitor (100 x 100 mm) to the monitor plate and adjust tension if needed. Use the gas-spring mechanism to raise or lower the entire work surface up to 17.7" (450 mm) and the column adjustment for finer monitor height changes up to 4.9" (124 mm). Position the monitor with the swivel, tilt and rotation settings for your preferred viewing angle, and place your keyboard on the tray leaving the mouse on the slide-out tray, on either the left or right side.

Usage recommendations

For ergonomic benefit, alternate between sitting and standing throughout the day and adjust monitor height so the top of the screen is at or slightly below eye level. Do not exceed the 8 kg weight limit and verify VESA compatibility before installation.
