The compact adapter provides a 40-pin PATA host connector and a SATA output interface, enabling the use of SATA I/II/III drives on IDE/ATA 33/66/100/133 systems. It is built around a Marvell 88SA8052 chipset and supports 48-bit LBA addressing.
