The StarTech.com KBTRAYADJ2 is an under-desk keyboard tray designed to save desktop space and improve typing ergonomics. The tray includes an integrated mouse pad and wrist rest and offers full-motion adjustment to help you position your keyboard and mouse for comfortable arm and shoulder posture.

Advantages

The 26.4" (670 mm) x 10" (255 mm) platform provides room for a full-size keyboard and mouse while the steel construction delivers a stable surface with a stated weight capacity of 2 kg (4.4 lb). Spring-assisted height adjustment with a paddle enables smooth vertical movement up to 13.4" (340 mm) and can be locked at any position. Additional adjustments include a tilt range of +15° / -13°, and a swivel of +180° / -180°, plus a slide range that extends the tray up to 18.5" (470 mm) from the desk edge.

How to use

Install the tray using the included mounting template and secure it to the underside of your desk, ensuring the mounting surface meets the minimum required space (750 mm depth x 147 mm width) and desk thickness of at least 20 mm. Use the height adjustment paddle to raise or lower the tray and lock it at the preferred height. Slide the tray in or out along the track to set the distance from the desk edge, adjust tilt with the side lever, and rotate the tray as needed for left- or right-handed positioning. Route cables using the supplied self-adhesive clips and position the foam pad under the tray where it contacts the desk to protect the surface during movement.

Usage recommendations

If you plan to move the tray frequently, confirm your desk provides the minimum mounting surface of 750 mm x 147 mm and at least 20 mm thickness. Place the wrist rest so your forearms are approximately parallel to the floor and adjust height and tilt to maintain neutral wrist and shoulder posture during typing.
