Universal TV Accessory Mount StarTech MDBOXMNT

Mount your media players, video extenders, cable boxes, modems or other small AV devices to a wall or to the back of a TV with the StarTech Universal TV Accessory Mount (MDBOXMNT). This steel bracket provides a 13.4" x 8.8" mounting grid, an open-frame design for easy access to ports and connections, and an optional adjustable cradle to support heavier devices up to 11 lb (5 kg). The kit includes reusable cable ties, an elastic band and a foam strip to protect your devices.

Advantages

An open-frame construction ensures unrestricted access to device ports while the included foam strip prevents scratches. How to use

Select a mounting location on the wall or behind the TV and align the bracket using the 13.4" x 8.8" hole grid. Fasten the bracket to the wall, the TV VESA screw holes, or to a VESA bracket using appropriate screws (not all screw types included). Attach your device to the mounting grid with the supplied reusable cable ties or place heavier devices into the adjustable cradle and set the cradle depth between 1.8" and 3" as needed. Apply the foam strip where the device contacts the bracket to prevent scratches and route cables through the open frame for convenient access.

Usage recommendations

Ensure the combined weight of attached devices does not exceed 5 kg (11 lb). Use appropriate screws and wall anchors for the installation surface and verify that TV or wall mounts meet the load requirements before mounting. For larger or irregularly shaped devices, use the adjustable cradle and secure cables with the included ties to prevent strain on ports.
