The StarTech 3-Port 2b/1a IEEE 1394 (FireWire) Mini PCIe Card Adapter adds three external FireWire ports to systems with a Mini PCI Express slot. Designed for small form factor and embedded systems, the adapter provides two FireWire-800 (IEEE 1394b) ports and one FireWire-400 (IEEE 1394a) port via a PCIe host interface.
