This StarTech.com 50 cm CAT6 Ethernet cable in red provides reliable Gigabit (1000 Mbit/s) network connections for short-distance applications such as in-rack or across-rack connections between switches, servers, patch panels and hubs. The cable is U/UTP (unshielded) with snagless RJ45 connectors and molded strain-relief boots to protect the termination points and reduce the risk of connector damage. It uses 24 AWG copper conductors and 50-micron gold-plated RJ45 contacts to maintain signal integrity and minimize oxidation. The product is UL certified and covered by StarTech.com’s lifetime warranty (model N6PATC50CMRD).
