The StarTech.com PCI Express to PCI Adapter Card PEX1PCI1 enables installation of half-height or low profile 32-bit PCI and PCI-X cards into a computer with an available PCI Express (PCIe) 1x slot. Compliant with PCI Express Specification 1.0a and PCI Specification 2.2, the adapter provides a low profile PCI connector and includes a spare full‑height bracket for installation in larger desktop or server PCIe slots. The board uses a PERICOM PI7C9X110BNBE chipset and measures approximately 70 mm x 135 mm x 20 mm. It is CE, FCC and RoHS certified.

Advantages

This adapter converts a PCIe 1x slot to a 32-bit PCI/PCI-X slot, allowing continued use of legacy PCI expansion cards in newer systems.
