The StarTech.com S25SLOTR Removable Hard Drive Bay installs into an available full-profile PCI expansion slot to provide rear-panel access to a 2.5" SATA hard drive or SSD. This trayless mobile rack accepts a bare 2.5" SATA drive without the need for a drive tray, allowing simple hot-swap insertion and removal from the computer chassis. The unit supports SATA III transfer rates up to 6 Gbps when paired with a compatible controller and features a vented aluminum/steel housing in a black finish.

Install the S25SLOTR into an available full-profile PCI expansion slot and secure the rear-panel bracket to the chassis. Insert a bare 2.5" SATA HDD or SSD into the trayless rack from the exterior; the drive will seat into the internal SATA connector.
