Flower pot with tray Stefanplast Ethica Ø40 x 39 cm, plastic, self-watering, 31 L, brown
Stefanplast Ethica flower pot with tray is a durable plastic planter with a built-in self-watering system and a 31 L capacity. The pot measures Ø40 x 39 cm and is suitable for medium to large houseplants or patio plants. Manufactured from 100% recycled and recyclable materials, this brown variant is designed for both indoor and outdoor use; colour may vary from the picture.
The self-watering system reduces the frequency of manual watering and helps maintain consistent soil moisture, supporting healthier root development. Being made from recycled and recyclable plastic makes the pot a more sustainable choice compared with conventional non-recycled planters. Its tray collects excess water, preventing spills and protecting surfaces, while the 31 L volume provides ample space for root growth and repotting larger plants.
This pot may not be suitable for very large trees or plants that require extremely deep root systems because of its fixed dimensions. It is also not suitable where strict aesthetic matching is required, since the actual colour may differ from the picture.
Place the pot on a stable, level surface and ensure the tray is correctly positioned to collect excess water. Add potting mix appropriate for your plant, leaving room for roots, and insert the plant. Fill the self-watering reservoir according to the manufacturer’s guidance or until the indicator (if present) shows correct level. Monitor soil moisture periodically and top up the reservoir when needed. For outdoor use, ensure proper drainage and protect the pot from prolonged exposure to extreme weather if necessary.
For best results, use a well-draining potting mix and regularly inspect the reservoir and soil moisture. Move the pot to shelter during extreme cold or heat to prolong its lifespan. Periodic cleaning of the tray and reservoir prevents algae and salt buildup.
