Glue nozzle Steinel 076061, standard tip Ø 2.0 mm
Standard glue nozzle Steinel 076061, standard tip Ø 2.0 mm is a replacement applicator designed for controlled dispensing of hot melt adhesives. Intended for use with compatible Steinel glue guns that accept replaceable nozzles, this tip provides a steady, narrow bead of adhesive for assembly, repair, crafting and packaging tasks. The combined metal and plastic construction ensures dimensional stability and reliable flow during repeated heating cycles.
The 2.0 mm diameter tip delivers precise glue placement with reduced stringing and minimal excess, improving accuracy on small joints and detailed work. Metal contact surfaces support consistent heat transfer while the plastic components reduce weight and simplify handling. The nozzle is designed for easy replacement and alignment with existing gun fittings, providing repeatable dispensing performance for series production or frequent repair tasks.
Allow the glue gun to reach operating temperature according to the gun manufacturer’s instructions before use. With the gun powered off and cooled, remove the existing nozzle following the gun manual, then fit the Steinel 2.0 mm nozzle ensuring correct alignment and secure seating. Reheat the gun, insert a suitable hot melt adhesive stick, and apply adhesive by compressing the trigger while guiding the nozzle along the joint. Maintain a steady speed and distance to produce a uniform bead.
Use adhesive sticks recommended for the glue gun and avoid forcing oversized or incompatible sticks. Clean the nozzle periodically when cooled, using appropriate tools and following safety instructions. For optimal results on delicate or heat-sensitive substrates, test on a scrap piece first to confirm bead size and adhesion.
