Filament Dryer Sunlu S1 Plus — Sunlu filament dryer for 3D printing
The Sunlu S1 Plus Filament Dryer is a desktop drying unit for 3D printing filaments that removes moisture to improve print reliability and part quality. It supports common filament materials such as PLA, PLA+, PETG, ABS and TPU, and accepts standard spools up to Ø210 × 85 mm. With a clear LCD and simple two-button control, the device provides controlled drying during storage or even while printing.
The Sunlu S1 Plus offers adjustable temperature (35–55°C) and a programmable drying time up to 24 hours, enabling you to tailor the drying process to different materials and ambient conditions. It operates quietly (<10 dB), features internal rollers for feeding filament directly from the dryer during printing, and supports all standard filament diameters (1.75 mm, 2.85 mm, 3.00 mm). The compact design and intuitive display make setup and use straightforward.
The Sunlu S1 Plus is designed for standard spool sizes up to Ø210 × 85 mm; very large or non-standard spool formats may not fit. It is optimized for filament conditioning rather than high-volume industrial drying, so production environments with very large throughput may require a different solution.
Place a compatible filament spool inside the dryer, set the required drying temperature (35–55°C) and the drying time up to 24 hours using the two-button interface and LCD display. If you need to feed filament directly to a 3D printer, route the filament through the included Teflon tube and use the internal rollers to allow printing while drying. Typical drying sessions last 3–6 hours for most filaments, but adjust time and temperature according to material and humidity.
For most common filaments, start with a temperature around 40–50°C and a drying time of 3–6 hours; increase time for heavily moisture-absorbed or older filaments. When printing directly from the dryer, route filament smoothly through the Teflon tube to avoid tension or snagging.
