Trusted Platform Module Supermicro AOM-TPM-9672V-O SPI 2.0 26.1mm x 14.6mm x 9.93mm
The Supermicro AOM-TPM-9672V-O is a Trusted Platform Module (TPM) that provides hardware-based security for establishing device identity and verifying software integrity. It supports secure boot, stores cryptographic keys and certificates in non-volatile memory, and implements a protected firmware update mechanism. The module communicates over an SPI interface and has compact dimensions of 26.1 mm x 14.6 mm x 9.93 mm.
This TPM delivers a high level of data confidentiality and platform attestation through hardware-rooted security. It is the first Supermicro TPM to include post-quantum cryptography (PQC) support with a 256-bit key length and features FIPS-compliant design and TPM firmware recovery capabilities. Extended non-volatile memory allows storage of additional certificates and cryptographic keys without relying on the host system.
Install the AOM-TPM-9672V-O on a compatible motherboard or system header that supports SPI TPM modules, following the platform vendor's installation instructions. Enable TPM in the system firmware (BIOS/UEFI) and configure secure boot and key storage according to your operating system or management tools. Use vendor or TCG-compliant utilities to perform firmware updates and manage stored certificates and cryptographic keys.
Ensure firmware updates are applied using the protected update mechanism and verified tools; maintain backups of critical keys and certificates and follow platform vendor guidance for BIOS/UEFI configuration to avoid loss of access to encrypted data.
