Elbow PP-R Supratherm 25x1/2F for wall mounting
Elbow PP-R Supratherm 25x1/2F for wall mounting
Elbow PP-R Supratherm 25x1/2F for wall mounting is a 90° PP-R fitting designed to connect a 25 mm PP‑R pipe to a 1/2" female threaded component while allowing secure wall-mounted installation. Made of polypropylene random copolymer (PP‑R), the fitting is lightweight and resistant to impact, wear and many chemicals; it is suitable for use in cold and hot water systems, heating and air conditioning applications at temperatures up to 90°C.
The Supratherm PP‑R elbow combines corrosion resistance with low weight and elevated mechanical durability, enabling tidy, long-lasting wall-mounted connections. Its design simplifies joining a 25 mm PP‑R pipe to standard 1/2" threaded fittings, reducing the need for additional adapters. The material’s chemical and wear resistance makes it compatible with potable water and many industrial applications.
Prepare the 25 mm PP‑R pipe by cutting square and cleaning the ends. Join the pipe to the PP‑R socket portion of the elbow using the appropriate heat fusion method or approved joining technique for PP‑R systems. Secure the elbow to the wall using suitable wall‑mounting hardware to maintain alignment and prevent stress on connections. Connect the 1/2" female threaded fitting to the threaded component, using an appropriate thread sealant or tape if required.
Use compatible PP‑R welding/fusion tools and follow manufacturer guidelines for fusion parameters. Avoid exceeding the stated maximum temperature and pressure limits for the PP‑R system. When installing on the wall, ensure proper support spacing to prevent strain on the threaded connection.
