Pipe end cap Supratherm Cap PP-R 25 for PP-R piping systems, model 2204067
Supratherm Cap PP-R 25 (model 2204067) is a polypropylene-random (PP-R) pipe end cap designed to close or seal 25 mm PP-R pipes. The cap is intended for terminating pipe runs, temporary closures during installation or maintenance, and for preventing debris or contaminants from entering the piping system. Made from PP-R material, it is lightweight while offering high impact resistance, wear resistance and chemical resistance, and is suitable for operation at temperatures up to 90°C.
The PP-R construction provides a balance of low weight and mechanical durability, delivering resistance to impact, abrasion and common chemicals. The cap is compatible with standard 25 mm PP-R piping systems and ensures a reliable seal for domestic and light commercial plumbing applications. Its material properties make it suitable for use with cold and hot water systems, heating and air-conditioning installations.
Fit the Supratherm PP-R 25 cap onto the end of a clean, cut 25 mm PP-R pipe according to the joining method used in your system (socket fusion or appropriate mechanical connection). Ensure pipe ends are free of debris and properly prepared before welding or attaching. For temporary use, press the cap fully onto the pipe end to achieve a tight closure; for permanent installations employ the correct fusion technique recommended for PP-R materials.
Use the cap only on compatible 25 mm PP-R piping and follow manufacturer guidelines for fusion and pressure ratings. Avoid exposing the cap to temperatures above the specified maximum and to aggressive chemicals not suitable for PP-R. For long-term or pressurised installations, confirm joint integrity after installation and perform routine inspections as part of system maintenance.
