Supratherm PP‑R 32/20 reducer coupling is a polypropylene random copolymer adapter designed to join a 32 mm PP‑R pipe to a 20 mm PP‑R pipe. The fitting provides a fusion joint that is corrosion‑resistant and hygienic, suitable for potable water, heating and other plumbing applications where a reliable pipe size transition is required. Supratherm PP‑R products are lightweight while offering high impact and wear resistance and good chemical stability, and they are rated for use at temperatures up to 90ºC.
The Supratherm PP‑R reducer offers easy fusion welding for leak‑tight connections, low weight for simplified handling, and resistance to corrosion and many chemicals. Its construction provides durable performance in both cold and hot water systems and heating installations, reducing maintenance needs and ensuring hygienic flow.
Prepare the PP‑R pipe ends by cutting square and removing burrs. Clean the pipe and fitting surfaces, then use the appropriate PP‑R welding tool to heat both the pipe and the reducer ends to the recommended temperature. Insert the pipe into the fitting and hold until the joint cools and solidifies to form a homogeneous fusion connection.
