Mounting plate Supratherm PP‑R 90 20×1/2F for pipe fittings
Mounting plate Supratherm PP‑R 90 20×1/2F is a polypropylene mounting plate designed to secure 20 mm PP‑R pipes with a 1/2" female threaded connection. The plate provides mechanical support and alignment for joints and fittings in PP‑R piping systems, helping to stabilise connections and reduce stress on fittings in residential and light‑commercial installations. PP‑R material offers low weight while maintaining high impact, wear and chemical resistance and is suitable for operation up to 90°C.
The Supratherm PP‑R mounting plate is lightweight and corrosion‑resistant, offering reliable mechanical fixation and precise alignment of 20 mm PP‑R pipes with a 1/2" female thread. Its polypropylene construction ensures resistance to impact, abrasion and many chemicals, and compatibility with hot and cold water, heating and air‑conditioning piping where temperatures do not exceed 90°C.
Position the mounting plate at the required location on the pipe run, align the 1/2" female threaded connection with the corresponding fitting, and secure the plate to the support surface or structure according to installation practice. Ensure pipe ends and fittings are correctly prepared and joined following PP‑R welding or assembly instructions before final fixation. Verify alignment and tighten connections to prevent mechanical stress on joints.
Use the mounting plate within the manufacturer’s temperature limits (up to 90°C) and in applications compatible with PP‑R; avoid exposure to solvents or chemicals that are known to degrade polypropylene. For hot water, heating and HVAC systems follow local plumbing codes and standard PP‑R installation procedures.
