PP-R three-way reducer fitting Supratherm 25×1/2" female, model 2205927
PP-R three-way reducer fitting Supratherm 25×1/2" female, model 2205927, is a polypropylene random copolymer (PP-R) fitting designed to connect a 25 mm PP-R pipeline to a 1/2" female threaded branch. The fitting is intended for use in PP-R piping systems for hot and cold water distribution, HVAC and industrial fluid handling where a reduced threaded connection is required.
The Supratherm PP-R three-way reducer is lightweight yet offers high impact, wear and chemical resistance. It is compatible with PP-R pipes and suitable for continuous operation at temperatures up to 90°C. The combination of a socket for fusion connection and a 1/2" female thread enables straightforward integration of threaded components into PP-R systems while maintaining corrosion resistance.
Prepare the 25 mm PP-R pipe by cutting squarely and cleaning the socket area. Join the pipe into the 25 mm socket using the appropriate PP-R fusion method (hot-melt welding) following the fusion equipment manufacturer's instructions. Screw the 1/2" male threaded fitting into the 1/2" female thread as required, using appropriate sealing (e.g., PTFE tape) where specified for the application. Ensure all joints are cool and secure before pressurizing the system.
Use compatible PP-R fusion tools and qualified installation practices. Do not exceed the recommended maximum operating temperature of 90°C and follow local plumbing codes for threaded connections in potable water or heating systems.
