Supratherm PP-R three-way pipe tee 32 mm, pressure rating 20 bar
Supratherm PP-R three-way pipe tee 32 mm with 20 bar pressure rating, designed to join three PP‑R pipeline runs in plumbing, heating and potable water systems. Made from polypropylene random copolymer (PP‑R), the fitting offers low weight while maintaining high impact resistance, wear resistance and chemical resistance. It is suitable for continuous operation at temperatures up to 90°C and for use in cold and hot water distribution, air conditioning and heating applications.
The Supratherm PP‑R tee combines corrosion and chemical resistance with reliable heat‑fusion welding installation for sealed joints. Its 32 mm diameter and 20 bar pressure rating make it suitable for residential and light commercial fluid distribution and repair work. The material provides long service life with reduced risk of leaks and low maintenance requirements.
Prepare pipe ends by cutting square and removing burrs. Use appropriate PP‑R heat‑fusion welding tools and follow the manufacturer’s instructions for welding temperature and time. Insert pipes fully into the tee sockets, perform fusion welds, and allow joints to cool undisturbed to achieve a reliable sealed connection. Ensure system is depressurized before cutting or welding and pressure‑test after installation according to applicable codes.
Use the Supratherm PP‑R tee only with compatible PP‑R pipes and fittings, apply correct socket welding parameters for 32 mm connections, and avoid prolonged exposure to temperatures above 90°C. For high‑pressure or critical installations, follow local regulations and consult a qualified installer.
